Tony Nitti is a partner with WithumSmith+Brown, P.C. Tony's practice focuses primarily on property transactions and corporate and partnership tax planning, with a special focus on the consolidated return regulations and the reorganization provisions, including the structuring of acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, spin-offs and other restructuring transactions. Tony is the author of dozens of articles, including "S Corporation Reasonable Compensation: How Much is Enough?" the winner of the Tax Adviser's 2011 "Best Article Award." Tony also co-authored the CCH expert tax treatise, Corporations Filing Consolidated Returns, in which he penned chapters covering Reverse Acquisitions, Allocation of Consolidated Tax Liability, Earnings and Profits, Election to Discontinue Filing Consolidated Returns, and Estimated Payments.
