This course is designed for individuals who would like to obtain a basic understanding of the proper methods and procedures for gathering and maintaining evidence in a forensic accounting engagement. We will discuss the Federal Rules of Evidence and the need for the documentation of the chain of custody. We will differentiate between evidence used in civil cases and evidence used in criminal cases.
