This is part 2 of 2 Introduction to Excel Macros Series.

In this session Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA helps you go beyond the Macro Recorder introduced in Introduction to Macros Part 1. David will use the Macro Recorder to automate repetitive tasks using Excel's Goal Seek feature. This case study will involve expanding on recorded macros to solicit input from the user, and incorporate error handling for macros. The session will then make report macro discussed in Part 1 more interactive with a File Open prompt, error handling, file size scalability, and color coding of the amounts.

David will teach from Excel 2010, but his handouts include instructions for Excel 2003, 2007, and 2013 where applicable.
