This course will detail provisions for federal business taxation implemented with the 2025 OBBB Act. What has changed and what has remained the same; PTET, QBI, energy credits for business, depreciation, Opportunity Zones, R&D expensing, employer credits, ERTC update, changes to applicable income for the business interest limitation, and an expansion for the §1202 small business stock gain exclusion. Also changes to business reporting for Form 1099-NEC, Form 1099-K, and reporting related to the new individual deductions for tips, overtime, and car interest paid.
