Tax rules related to medical coverage and health care have been prominent since the enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA), especially in light of COVID-19. In the time since enactment, rules have changed and the options for small businesses that want to provide coverage for employees have expanded. Employers in small businesses may use traditional group health plans, various reimbursement arrangements, or other options for their staff. This course explains all of these medical benefit plans for employees of small businesses.
