Health care costs have been going up substantially over time. Fortunately, the tax law provides a number of incentives for small businesses to pay for, or at least assist in the payment of, health coverage for their employees. The incentives are deductions and tax credits, as well as exemption from payroll taxes for coverage treated as tax-free fringe benefits.

This course explains health care options for small businesses and the tax consequences that result.
