We will discuss various types of identity theft and how the criminals gain access to personal information and commit identity fraud. We will review some of the legal and ethical implications involved. Examples of real-world cases will be provided to help develop an understanding of the risks involved. We will review steps that can be taken to help prevent identity theft.
