Office 365: Excel's Opportunities and Obstacles (Currently Unavailable)

Author: David H. Ringstrom

CPE Credit:  2 hours for CPAs

In this presentation Excel expert David Ringstrom, CPA, shows how the Office 365 version of Excel 2016 differs not only from older Excel versions and but also perpetually licensed versions of Excel 2016. Historically each version of Excel has been identical for all users, but Microsoft has chosen to reward Office 365 subscribers with much faster access to new Excel features. You'll see updated features and worksheet functions available in the Office 365 version of Excel 2016 and shows you step-by-step how to use them. This presentation will help you make the most of new features in Excel, while steering clear of triggering issues when sharing spreadsheets with users that aren't using Office 365.

David demonstrates every technique at least twice: first, on a PowerPoint slide with numbered steps, and second, in the Office 365 version of Excel 2016. He draws your attention to any differences in the perpetual licensed versions of Excel 2016, 2013, 2010, or 2007 during the presentation as well as in his detailed handouts. In addition, David provides an Excel workbook that includes most of the examples he uses during the course.
