Effective tax research skills are crucial to reducing the risk of error and for finding planning opportunities.

This course will provide a tax research process that can make your research work more efficient and increase your confidence in your findings. Tips are offered for effectively using commercial and free research tools, identifying issues and relevant facts, and reaching conclusions. In addition, selected penalty provisions and rules of conduct relevant to effective tax research are covered. Examples are used throughout the presentation.
