![]() | Douglas KelleyDoug Kelley received his Masters of Science in Accountancy, emphasis in Taxation from San Diego State University. In 2014, he passed the Enrolled Agent exams and, soon after, started his own tax practice. He and his wife co-founded My CPA Hub, Incorporated, focusing on individual tax preparation, consultation, bookkeeping, and financial statement compilation. To date, he has prepared over 1,500 tax returns with varying complexities such as itemized deductions, capital gains (including cryptocurrency), sole proprietorships, rental properties, multi-state, and military intricacies. In addition to this, he also is a guest lecturer at San Diego State University, responsible for teaching Accounting 409, a class that operates with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The IRS VITA program at SDSU specializes in the preparations of foreign student non-residents in the US on an F-1 or J-1 VISA; during his time lecturing, the VITA program has prepared over 1,500 tax returns. Furthermore, Doug contributes as an editor on a leading textbooks covering individual income tax. In conjunction with the above, he also serves on Active Duty in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Officer. |
