Companies that successfully implement value pricing in their operations can see an increase in their bottom-line profits. We will review the economic theories and discuss why value pricing can work. We will review the various pricing factors and traditional pricing models. We will compare and contrast value pricing to the traditional pricing models. Examples of effective use of value pricing will be provided. We will discuss some of the potential legal pitfalls if value pricing is not implemented correctly, including price gouging and anti-trust laws.
