The Washington Post reported the US Government loses between $233 Billion and $521 Billion to fraud on an annual basis. With California’s unemployment fund insolvency due to $55 Billion in fraud and Consumer Affairs reporting an 82% increase in government benefits fraud this issue is once again requiring the attention of accountants, auditors, and fraud investigators.

We have all heard of government benefits fraud, but did you ever wonder how it works? How do these fraud schemes work and how much do they cost taxpayers? This course is designed to review government benefits frauds.
