 | Reese GoldsmithReese Goldsmith provides legislative and regulatory advocacy at the federal level for clients in the environment and natural resources sectors. As a member of our Energy, Environment, and Resource Strategies (EERS) Group, she lays the groundwork for winning strategies to influence decision-makers in federal agencies.Before joining Brownstein, Reese worked on behalf of Democrats in New Hampshire as an organizer during the 2018 midterms, flipping the New Hampshire statehouse and solidifying the state’s fully democratic U.S. congressional delegation. Prior to the campaign, Reese conducted research on administrative, environmental, and natural resource policy impacting small businesses for the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of Advocacy. There she also analyzed the feasibility of regulatory reform efforts as part of the SBA interagency review process with the Office of Management and Budget. Before her time at the SBA, Reese served as a law clerk in the Environment and Natural Resources Division at the Department of Justice, assisting attorneys on a broad range of policy and litigation matters in the Law and Policy Section. Early in her career, Reese contracted with the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office as a correspondence specialist, managed political affairs on behalf of the national trade association MPA-The Association of Magazine Media, and worked for former Congressman Albert R. Wynn (D-MD), who served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. |
