Foreign individuals must pay tax on their U.S.-source income. Although some of their tax compliance is the result of withholding, if the foreign person has effectively connected income, she will have to file and pay tax on a Form 1040-NR. Taught by former IRS Chief Counsel (International) Robert Misey, this program will teach attendees the rules for taxing foreign persons. The program includes preparation of a sample Form 1040-NR.
