This course has been updated for 2024 to include new risks and new ways individuals and businesses can protect themselves from cyber-attacks. We will also cover the new NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 which was released on February 26, 2024
You have probably heard of some of the more common types of cyber-crimes such as ransomware, spyware, computer viruses, phishing, denial of service attacks and hacking. If you are a government entity, agency, vendor, or contractor you are probably already familiar with NIST. This course is designed to familiarize participants who are not IT experts on cybersecurity risks and internal controls, including the new requirements under NIST 2.0. We will cover the material in a plane language, nontechnical manner. We will cover what you need to know, but not how to write the computer programs or code, you don’t need to be an IT expert to learn from this webinar.
